Cool new Skirt Pattern by "My
Favorite Things" Using the new pique and it's mate.
The skirt pattern also has a single skirt view and a pleated version! All sizes
in one pattern!
New "Ashley Renee"
from PBJK Designs This is my new smocking plate,
it has 2 views:. This one with a 4 step stitched that is shadowed by another
shade of the same color, and the accent is with sweet groupings of colonial
knots. The first view on the plate is with 5 step trellis and has 2mm pearls
for accents also. The first view is good for the bigger sizes and the second
works well for the smaller ones. This plate is also easy to drop a row or 2
for daygowns. I used the Ellen McCarn Bishop
pattern and the newest Maline lace from group #13. I love that the geometric
design in the lace matches that in the smocking.
Fabric is the new Hunter Green

fantastic Venetian lace. Back

crayon twill by Fabric Finders with three matching crayon buttons and red

sizes 1-4 & 5-8 Thanks Sarah for sharing Mary Stuart's new dress with

Remember Jane Ann ? The cute yellow sleeveless dress, we have come up with a fall version!! This dress was made in our shop by one of our visitors
from New Jersey! Hey Lynda!! She came in to get some things cut out and pleated , to
have some hand work to do. Well she stayed for 2 days and made this for her
niece!! Great job, and while working on this one we planned another
color way for a raspberry version.
"On
The Farm" "On The Farm" is a
patch work insert pattern by Children's Corner. The pattern is
Little Lambs by Terry Jane Collins. It comes both boy and girl style, in sizes
1-6. This outfit was made in a size 3.
Tulip
Fun This Jumper and
tulip paper piecing pattern is found in Janis Shelton's first book, "Paper
Piecing Fun" The Blouse is
PBJK's Jumper and Blouse pattern. Liz made this for
her daughter with the initial plan of three Tulips across the front of the
jumper. Proud of the first three she showed it to Anne Claire, she said, "Mom
the picture shows them all the way around the dress!" Then I said , "Liz you
need to boarder that insert in the matching moda, and while you're cutting that
out make enough piping to match and cover your buttons." Well as you see the
dress is fabulous and Anne Claire is so proud! Liz and I are still pals
also!! Here is a closer
look at all that hard work!!
The
Train! Every little boy wants to
be a Train Conductor! We used "Alan's Bubble" pattern by Creative Needle. "The Train"
patchwork insert pattern by Children's Corner. (Because of the small size we
eliminated the caboose from the insert.) We added a pocket
to hold a red hanky to wipe the perspiration off from a hard day at the yard. The fabric is
Bright stripes from the Novelty fabric page.
You can shop the rest
of our store to look at all the wonderful new items.
Warm & Fuzzy
Yes it's "Robins Jacket" and "Hank and Helen"
After not sewing anything for over 2 months ! I made this for a lace company to show at market! I think she will sell a lot of lace! All the lace was just
fantastic!
Holly& Hunter by Bonnie Blue Designs "2 Turtles" Ceramic hand painted buttons I use button pins so I can
take them off to wash. They are too cute so that little inconvenience is
o.k. The machine embroidery design was free off the internet. I
did change it a bit. If I can find the website again I'll post it here so
you can get it. Holly& Hunter by Bonnie Blue Designs
