Step Eight:

Cut lace edging into two equal pieces and gather to fit all around each yoke.

Zig zag the edging side by side to the entredeux all around the yoke.

(I start at the lower left hand side and work around)

When using the eyelet, I use the technique of rolling and whipping over a thread. You can find this technique in Martha's "French Machine Sewing Book".

Seam edges together and finish with a small zig zag.

Step Nine:

Attach ribbons to yoke( 1 yd for each shoulder strap). I place the ribbons to the wrong side of the yokes and 1/2" in from side edge.  Fold the ribbon under twice to have a finished edge and stitch across the bottom and about 1/2" up from the bottom.
